Vigo and Pontevedra are both great places to stay during the wedding celebrations. Vigo is a larger city with more amenities, while Pontevedra is closer to the wedding venue and easier to get around. Both are wonderful destinations, with plenty of things to do and beautiful places to discover.

Los mercados y restaurantes del puerto son auténticos y todo es delicioso.
Merece también la pena visitar La Toja, famosa por sus balnearios y su capilla de las conchas.
The best thing about this area is its beautiful beaches and seaside promenades. The local markets and waterfront restaurants are full of authentic charm, and the food is simply delicious.
La Toja is also well worth a visit, famous for its spas and its unique seashell-covered chapel.

Merece la pena pasear po su casco urbano y por el puerto pesquero, disfrutar de playas como Area de Secada o Limens y visitar el Museo Massó.
It's well worth strolling through the town centre and its fishing harbour, enjoying beautiful beaches such as Area de Secada or Limens, and visiting the Massó Museum.

Forman parte del Parque Nacional Marítimo-Terrestre de las Islas Atlánticas de Galicia y ambas son ideales para hacer excursiones en barco de un día. Playas vírgenes espectaculares para descansar después de la boda.

Pontevedra city
Pasear por el Mercado de Abastos mientras degustáis productos frescos locales y dar una vuelta por el casco histórico con sus plazas y sus calles empedradas es un plan súper apetecible.
Strolling through the local food market while sampling fresh, local produce, and wandering around the charming old town with its beautiful squares and cobbled streets, is a lovely way to spend the day.

Vigo city center
Pasear por el puerto mientras disfrutas de las impresionantes vistas al mar y a las Cíes y te tomas unas ostras es un planazo insuperable.
Os recomendamos seguir después el paseo por el Casco Antiguo y sus calles empedradas, donde encontraréis también una gran variedad de bares y restaurantes.
Stroll along the harbour, enjoy stunning views of the sea and the Cíes Islands, and treat yourself to some fresh oysters. Then, explore the Old Town’s charming cobbled streets, filled with lively bars and restaurants.

Playa de Samil
Si el tiempo lo permite (¡que esperamos que sí!), la playa de Samil es el lugar perfecto para relajarse, disfrutar del sol y descansar después de una gran boda.
Hay zonas verdes, paseo marítimo y actividades acuáticas.
Weather permitting (fingers crossed!), Samil Beach is the perfect spot to soak up the sun, relax and unwind after the wedding. You'll also find green spaces, a lovely seaside promenade and plenty of water activities.

Habrá servicio de autobuses desde Vigo y Pontevedra a la iglesia en Bueu y al pazo después. Y de vuelta desde el pazo hasta los puntos de recogida.
Las paradas de Vigo y Pontevedra serán en el centro y las estableceremos en función de los hoteles en los que os alojéis la mayoría de los invitados. Os mantendremos informados de horarios y lugares exactos según se acerque la fecha.
A shuttle service will be available from Vigo and Pontevedra to the church in Bueu, then on to the wedding venue, with return transfers to the original pick-up points.
Pick-up locations will be in central Vigo and Pontevedra, based on where most guests are staying.

El código de vestimenta es formal. Para los hombres pedimos traje y corbata, y para las mujeres vestidos midi o largos.
The dress code is formal attire. We politely request a suit and tie for men, and midi or floor-length dresses for women.

El aeropuerto más cercano al lugar de la boda es Vigo (VGO), que tiene conexiones con Madrid (MAD) y Barcelona (BCN). Para más opciones internacionales, Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) tiene vuelos directos desde Estados Unidos, Reino Unido y distintos destinos de Europa. Asimismo, Oporto, en Portugal (OPO), ofrece una amplia variedad de destinos internacionales. Las tres ciudades están conectadas con Vigo en tren.
The closest airport to our venue is Vigo (VGO), which has connections to Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN). Likewise, Porto, Portugal (OPO) offers a wide range of international destinations. All three cities are connected to Vigo by train.
